Mark Lee Carver of Decatur, GA passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014. Mark was a beloved father, friend, graduate of Druid Hills High School ('79), popular DHHS soccer coach, captain of his ALTA tennis team, and a loyal citizen of the Bulldog Nation. Mark loved nature and often went camping in North Georgia. Mark was a people-person, always in high spirits, the life of the party.

He is survived by his wife, Marguerite (Bonnie) Carver; his children, Owen Carver and Amanda Carver; his sister, Bonny Bowling; brothers, Scott Carver, Craig Carver and Brett Carver; and his mother, Norma Carver.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany on Ponce De Leon Ave. The family will received friends on Monday, July 14 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home on North Decatur Rd.

Graveside Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
